On Sunday, November 4th from 9 am – 2:30 pm, Porkies BBQ will sponsor the “Annual Hammer and Drill Motorcycle Ride and Poker Run”
This ride, which always occurs on the first Sunday in November, will be approximately a 3 hour motorcycle tour of rural NW Orange and Eastern Lake Counties, and will benefit the local effort to create affordable housing in the Apopka and Northwest County area through raising funds via registration, and will include a poker hand for each paying participant that will be given at each stop. The winning hand will split the proceeds with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Apopka! Registration is $20 for each rider and $10 for each passenger and includes a t-shirt and a lunch at Porkies at the end of the ride. Tickets for the Annual Hammer and Drill Poker Run are limited to the first 150 riders and can be purchased in advance at either Porkies BBQ between 11a – 9p Mondays – Saturdays, and also at the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Apopka Re-store during store hours which are Tuesday through Saturday, 9a – 5p.
